From “Home Sweet Home” to “Home Away From Home,” Ellen is Proud to Help Families Find Perfect Homes
Pairing home buyers with home sellers is, of course, the most obvious service Kansas City real estate agents bring to the community. As the largest real estate firm in the area, ReeceNichols paired over 16,000 families with homes in 2020 – thanks to 2,200 hard-working agents in Kansas and Missouri.
As a ReeceNichols agent, Ellen is proud to devote her professional time and attention to buyers and sellers of homes throughout the Kansas City region. Her longtime love of the style, craftsmanship and personality of older homes has made her a connoisseur of neighborhoods in the Brookside area in particular. The Gold Key Project 
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC) was founded to ease the weight of childhood illness on families. This is done by providing housing and resources for the families of children receiving medical care at Kansas City hospitals. This act of care and compassion allows families to stay closer to their children – and eases the financial burden of lodging – while the children undergo medical treatment.
ReeceNichols and RMHC-KC launched the Gold Key Project program in 2020 to “bring hearts and homes together for a greater purpose.” This partnership raised over $31,000 in 2020 – providing 310 night stays at RMHC-KC for families struggling through childhood illness.
In 2021, the Gold Key Project grew to include a total of four local Ronald McDonald House Charities:
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of Wichita
